This is the classic ceviche prepared in our country, Peru. It has fish of the day, minced garlic, minced celery, onion cut to the feather, minced cilantro, parboiled corn or fried corn, lemon juice, minced fresh chili, and sliced rocoto. It always has this spicy touch.

Now, I'm going to show you the Loretano style of ceviche

CECINA'S CEVICHE

This dish was created in the Saint John celebration that happens every year in our region. This ceviche has 150 grams of cecina, salt, ají charapita, lemon juice, garlic, and coriander. You can accompany it with fried plantain and corn kernels.

PAICHE'S CEVICHE

This ceviche is really popular because of the fish called PAICHE that is from our Loreto and it's exported internationally. It has lemon juice, fried corn, and corn kernels.

PALMITO'S CEVICHE

This is the vegan ceviche of Loreto. It has heart of palm instead of fish. Then, there are also onions, tomatoes, avocado, and lemon juice. You can add fried plantain

NOW
LET'S TALK ABOUT MY EATING HABITS

For breakfast, I usually have a glass of orange juice and some French toasts. Sometimes, I have a cup of coffee and a sandwich with cheese and ham in it.

I like to make sandwiches for myself because they quite easy and quick to do, especially when I have classes in the morning, so early.

In the afternoon, my family and I like to have creole food. On Fridays, we usually have Lomo saltado. It is so yummy! I really like this meal because is a Peruvian dish and it has french fries. After we eat, we have fruit salad.

For dinner, I usually have a cup of tea on weekdays and toasts or maybe some pasta with seafood. If it's the weekend, I like to eat junk food. For example, burgers, milkshakes, a piece of chocolate cake or some pizza.
